About Us

We at Totara View are a married couple fulfilling my dream of breeding and producing horses suitable for anyone to handle and produce.

I have been around breeding since working on a stud farm at the age of 16. Now 36 I am making my own dreams come true. I bred my first Irish Sport horse 14 years ago and she is one of our Foundation mares now. I fell in love with the versatility, trainability and fabulous nature they have and just wanted to breed more.

Since moving to Oamaru & finding our dream property we have slowly started building things how we want and can now bring some of those dreams to fruition.

We have two to three foals due each season to the Class 1 Stallion Ballineen Blue Mountain(Imp GB) and in future years hope to use the new stallion to NZ, Derrynasagurt Silver (Imp Ireland). These are the only two Class 1 Stallions in Australasia & hold some of the best Irish Bloodlines worldwide. Both Standing at Trevalda Irish Sporthorses in RANFURLY.
